EveryoneWhat is Rokohumin Duplo?
Rokohumin Duplo is a liquid fertilizer (3.9-2.5-3.9) made from hydrolyzed poultry feathers and enriched with humic acids, 18 amino acids, and micro-nutrients. It is a premium quality fertilizer, sold in the U.S. under state fertilizer statutes and distributed exclusively by Molad Agro Solutions LLC.
EveryoneWhat does 3.9-2.5-3.9 mean?
It is the guaranteed analysis, on a liquid basis (m/m): 3.9% total nitrogen (N), 2.5% available phosphate (P₂O₅), and 3.9% soluble potash (K₂O). The product also contains humic acids, 18 amino acids, and micro-nutrients.

EveryoneWhat is it made from, and how is it made?
Poultry feathers, broken down by hydrolysis into a fully solubilized liquid concentrate at about 28% dry matter. Rokosan’s patented enzymatic hydrolysis process is patented in the United States, China, Russia, and Ukraine.
The manufacturer’s Safety Data Sheet also describes the feather hydrolysis as alkaline hydrolysis, with the potassium hydroxide used in the process neutralized with phosphoric acid.
EveryoneIs it a concentrate? What does “ready-to-use” mean?
It is a concentrate that you dilute in water. “Ready-to-use” means it is a stable, fully dissolved liquid with no pre-blending and no separate additives: measure it, add it to water, and apply.
EveryoneWhat does it look and smell like?
A dark brown to black liquid with a mild natural odor. pH is 7.5 ± 1.0, density is about 1,200 g/L, and it is fully water soluble and not flammable.
EveryoneWhat can I use it on?
Per the label: indoor and outdoor ornamental plants (annuals, balcony flowers, roses), ornamental lawns and grassy areas, flowering and evergreen plants, grapes, small fruits, vegetables, and agricultural crops, including professional greenhouse production and commercial nurseries.
Using it
EveryoneHow much should I use, and how often?
Official label rates:
| Method | Rate | Timing & frequency |
|---|---|---|
| Root / drench | 7.5 to 10 ml per 1 L waterabout 1.0 to 1.3 fl oz per gallon | To the root zone. Repeat every 2 to 3 weeks. |
| Foliar | 5 to 7.5 ml per 1 L waterabout 0.6 to 1.0 fl oz per gallon | Evening application. Repeat every 7 to 14 days. |
| Hydroponic | 7.5 ml per 1 L waterabout 1.0 fl oz per gallon | Replace the solution every 14 days. |
| Commercial field | 2.5 L per hectare in 100 to 200 L waterabout 34 fl oz per acre, in 10.7 to 21.4 gallons of water per acre | Adjusted by crop type and growth stage. |
EveryoneHow do I prepare the solution?
- Shake the container and mix the contents thoroughly before use.
- Measure the amount for your method and water volume.
- Add it to the water and mix.
- If you are combining it with other products, jar-test first (see the mixing questions below).
EveryoneCan I use it in hydroponics?
Yes. The label lists hydroponic cultivation at 7.5 ml per 1 L of water (about 1.0 fl oz per gallon), added to the solution in the container. Replace the solution every 14 days.
Commercial growerCan I run it through drip, pivot, and foliar sprayers?
It is designed for drip, pivot, and foliar systems. The liquid dissolves into a stable suspension and is engineered to minimize clogging risk in standard dosing equipment. Mix it thoroughly before use, and jar-test any partner product you plan to add to the tank.
Commercial growerHow much do I need for a field or a season?
The label rate for commercial field use is 2.5 L per hectare (about 34 fl oz per acre) in 100 to 200 L of water, adjusted by crop type and growth stage. We do not publish a fixed season total, because frequency depends on the crop. Our team can give you a season-specific recommendation.
Mixing & compatibility
EveryoneCan I tank-mix it with other products?
Has been used alongside common fungicides, pesticides, and select herbicides in tank-mix applications. There’s no blanket compatibility claim: avoid calcium-based products, use caution with magnesium-based products, and jar-test each tank-mix partner first.
The manufacturer’s Safety Data Sheet also lists strong bases as incompatible.
EveryoneHow do I do a jar test?
- Prepare a small test sample at your intended field ratio.
- Combine Rokohumin Duplo with the intended tank-mix partner(s) in the sample.
- Observe for 10–15 minutes for separation, foaming, clumping, or precipitate.
- Only move to full-tank mixing if the sample stays stable the whole time.
For a specific fungicide, pesticide, or herbicide you are unsure about, contact our team before mixing.
Safety, storage & testing
EveryoneHow do I store it, and how long does it last?
Store in a dry, dark place at temperatures above +4°C (39°F), away from strong sunlight, foodstuff, animal feed, and children. Shelf life is 36 months.
EveryoneIs it safe around animals and children?
Keep it out of reach of children and away from food, drink, and animal feed. After soil treatment, keep farm animals out of treated areas for a minimum of 21 days.
EveryoneWhat protective equipment should I wear?
The Safety Data Sheet recommends goggles (EN 166), protective gloves (EN 374), and protective work clothing. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothing. Do not eat, drink, or smoke while handling it, and wash your hands after work.
EveryoneWhat if I get it in my eyes or on my skin, or swallow it?
- Eyes: Rinse thoroughly under running water with eyelids open for about 5 minutes. Remove contact lenses if present. Consult an eye doctor if problems persist.
- Skin: Remove contaminated clothing and wash the skin with soap and water. Get medical attention if irritation persists.

U.S. Poison Control, available 24 hours.
EveryoneIs it classified as hazardous?
According to the manufacturer’s Safety Data Sheet, the mixture does not meet the criteria for hazard classification under EU CLP Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008. In direct contact it can cause irritation, so avoid contact with eyes and skin.
EveryoneHas it been independently tested?
Four samples from one production lot were tested for microbiology by an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited laboratory in 2020. Salmonella was absent in all four, and E. coli was below 10 CFU/g (limit 1,000 CFU/g). A separate heavy metals report is also on file.
